After far too long an absence from the Scottish table tennis scene, Table Tennis Scotland has decided to re-introduce this competition for Season 2010/11. The intention is to run two leagues, senior and junior, in divisions of eight. Matches will be played over four Saturdays/Sundays with one match in the morning and one in the afternoon on the first three dates. On the fourth date the remaining match will be played and followed by an awards ceremony. These fixture dates have already been arranged and can be found under Events.
Teams will comprise three players and West Lothian will register George Flanagan, Brian Hunter, lewis Hills, Andy MacDougall, Kevin Milne and Keith MacKay. The junior team will be spearheaded by three Scotland ranked juniors in Colin Dalgleish, Robbie Fairley and Kieran Boyle.
